Repair steps

  1. Confirm blade fit

Check the vehicle manual for blade length, connector type, and any service-position procedure. Do not guess from length alone.

  2. Protect the glass

Park safely, switch the ignition off, and place a folded towel on the windscreen beneath the wiper arm before lifting it.

  3. Release the old blade

Release the old blade using the connector’s marked latch. Keep control of the spring-loaded arm and never let it fall onto the glass.

  4. Lock and test the new blade

Attach the matching replacement until its lock engages, lower the arm slowly, then test with washer fluid while parked.
